ARTDICTED Presents ""Fight！ファイト！" Solo Exhibition by Japanese Artist Ushiki Masanori
ARTDICTED is excited to announce the preview session of the "Fight！ファイト！" solo exhibition featuring renowned Japanese artist Ushiki Masanori. The exhibition will be held at the Causeway Bay General Purpose Store in Hong Kong from October 2 to November 3, 2025. This highly anticipated event will showcase 40 iconic fighter drawings that highlight Ushiki's distinct artistic expression through his original character designs.
Masanori Ushiki, a Tokyo-based illustrator and visual artist, draws inspiration from a diverse array of sources, including pop culture, manga, sci-fi, boys' culture, video games, animation, and special effects. His portfolio features a wide range of subjects, from humorous portraits and eclectic girl gangs to sci-fi creatures and fashion-conscious characters. His works have been exhibited in prominent venues such as TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS GALLERY and TSUTAYA DAIKANYAMA T-SITE GALLERY. The "Fight！ファイト！" exhibition celebrates Ushiki’s extensive series of original character designs developed over the past 17 years. Inspired by Tokusatsu TV shows, hero manga, and masked wrestlers from his childhood, each drawing captures the essence of various fighters, portraying their strength, intricate details, and dynamic poses. Ushiki's unique style combines visual creativity with a fashion-like aesthetic, creating a narrative that resonates with audiences on multiple levels.
